Natural fossil wood stones are not polished which give the stones a beautiful "natural" look. Although the colour range is not as big compared to polished stones (most natural stones are brown) they are very suitable for terrarium purpose. The surface is rough which makes it possible for some species of plants to attach their roots on the stone, for instance in a rainforest terrarium.

Please notice that fossil wood is extremely heavy. For small diameter stems the weight is on avarage 125 kgs for each meter up to 200 kgs for big diameters.
If you want to place the stem upright, we can make sure that it stands stable on a flat surface. |
